Restricted Recipient

If a recipient's account is under restriction, which could be for various reasons, the following error will display when attempting to send money. 

CONTACT THE RECIPIENT: You will need to contact the recipient for more information, as we are not informed why they are not eligible.  

Possible Reasons for Restriction:

  1. Recipient received money from a credit or debit card that was reported as stolen
  2. If you have filed a chargeback and denied a payment that you yourself sent with a credit or debit card (In this case, contact your bank and reverse the chargeback so that you can continue sending funds) 
We encourage you to send a money order if you are unable to reverse the chargebacks.
