Restrictions may be placed on a recipient for various reasons.
If a transaction is reported as "disputed" this may result in a Chargeback. This means a resident may be "restricted" and is unable to receive funds until the full amount of the chagreback fee is received.
Note: Not all restrictions have chargeback fees.
Resolving a Restriction Due to a Chargeback:
- Until chageback fees are paid, the resident who received the unauthorized funds will be restricted from receiving funds from future tansactions until Access Corrections has recovered associated funds.
- By paying the chargeback fees, you agree to reimburse Access Corrections the amount for the unauthorized funds received by the inmate along with a $25 reactivation fee.
Restrictions vary based on the chargeback applied:
- Partial Restriction (With Chargeback)
- Full Restriction (With Chargeback)
- Partial Restriction without a Chargeback Amount
- Full Restriction without a Charegback Amount
- No Restriction with a Chargeback
