How to Send Money with Cash Pay Today

Access Corrections offers Walk-In Cash Deposit locations through trusted partners, allowing family and friends to easily add funds to inmate accounts. Many of these stores are already used for utility, cable, and cell phone payments.

NOTE: This service is not available to all agencies. 


Getting Started

    • Create an account if you do not currently have one. 
    • If you have an account, select Sign In.   You will be directed as follows - Sign In> Dashboard > Send Money > Payment Options > Generate Barcode.

Generating a Barcode

  1.  From the Send Money screen, select the State, Agency and Recipient ID or Name

  2. If the agency provides the Cash Pay Today service, the Payment Method screen will display. 

  3. Select Cash Pay Today as the method of payment. A description is provided to generate a barcode for authorized locations. 


  4. Click NEXT

  5. The Cash Pay Today page displays. 

    • Optional: Select the Send by Test Message checkbox to receive the barcode by text. 
    • *Required: Select Attention checkbox to agree to the Terms of Use, Privacy and User Agreement Policy of Access Corrections
      NOTE: This Attention notification Must be acknowledged in order to proceed. 
  6. Click GENERATE BARCODE


  7. You will see the barcode on the next page, and it will also be sent to you by text if you chose that option.

    • Customers can present the generated barcode to any of the Cash Pay Today locations. *Select the Cash Pay Today Tab to view retail locations
      NOTE: The generated barcode image can either be printed or a screen shot can be saved to the customer's device. 
    • Customers have the option to add the generated barcode to their Apple or Google Wallet for future use. 

  8. Once the barcode is obtained, click DONE


Manage Barcodes From The Dashboard

Once a barcode has been generated, it can be re-generated fro the Dashboard. 

  1. Select the recipient the barcode was previously created for. 
  2. Click on the ellipses () to the far right of the recipient information. 
  3. The option to Regenerate Barcode will display. 
  4. Once Regenerate Barcode is selected, the Cash Pay Today page displays. 
    NOTE: The steps repeat as described above. 

After completing a Cash Pay Today transaction at a retail location, you can view it by clicking the Transaction History button on the Dashboard.

  1. Select View History on the Dashboard next to the recipient of the transaction.
  2. A pop-up dialog will show the Cash transaction history and any Credit transaction history for that recipient.

<<Troubleshooting Barcode Generation>>

  1. Check Your Internet Connection
    A weak or unstable connection may prevent the barcode from loading. Ensure you're connected to a strong network and try again.

  2. Refresh the Page
    Reload the page to clear any temporary glitches and attempt to generate the barcode again.

  3. Try a Different Browser or Device
    If the issue persists, switch to another browser or device to see if the barcode appears.

  4. Clear Browser Cache
    Cached data can interfere with barcode generation. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then retry.

  5. Disable Browser Extensions
    Extensions like ad blockers may block barcode rendering. Temporarily disable them and try again.

  6. Enable Pop-Ups

    The barcode opens in a new tab, so make sure your browser allows pop-ups for this site.
